How to Prepare for Your Physical Assessment
I'm excited to get started with you on your fitness journey! To make the most of our upcoming assessment, here are a few important steps to prepare:
Scheduling Your Assessment
I'll be sending you an email soon with a few available times and days for our first session based on your input a moment ago.
Please reply to confirm what works best for you. If none of the provided options fit your schedule, let me know, and we can find a time that does.
If I cannot agree to a time that works for both of us, a refund will be processed right back to your credit card.
Pre-Assessment Questionnaire & Waiver
Along with the scheduling email, I'll also include a link to a brief questionnaire. Please fill this out whenever you have time before our initial session. The questions are designed to give me insight into your fitness background, goals, injury history, and lifestyle. This helps me tailor your assessment and training program to best suit your needs.
Additionally, I'll attach a waiver that needs to be completed so we can safely use the gym space together. Please review, sign, and return it before our session.
What to Wear & Bring
Please wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for free movement. Supportive shoes, like sneakers designed for training, are ideal. If you prefer to train barefoot or in minimalist shoes for certain movements, that’s perfectly fine as well as long as they are flat!
Feel free to bring a water bottle and a small towel if you'd like. I also recommend a notebook or fitness app to jot down any key points or progress details we discuss.
Documenting Progress
If you're open to it, I'd love to take videos or photos during our session to help track your progress. This can be an incredibly motivating tool, and it allows us to visually see improvements over time. Of course, this is entirely optional, and your comfort is my priority.
Nutrition & Planning Ahead
As we prepare to get started, I encourage you to reflect on your current nutrition habits. Proper nutrition plays a major role in achieving your goals, especially with resistance training. Getting enough protein will be key to fueling our workouts and maximizing your results.
